A community app where people flag dangerous places and risks around them on a map.

About the project

SAFLIFER is a community app for a safer life. People mark dangerous places, problems and risks on a map, other users rate the reports by voting, and alerts about new events nearby arrive straight on the phone. Reports can also be made anonymously. For this project we built the mobile app and the web backend.

How the app works

A live map of your area with events, risks and alerts in real time.
Reporting an event with a category, a location and a photo.
Other users rate reports by voting and commenting.
Points and badges for activity.
Alerts about new events nearby and anonymous information sharing.
Available in Slovak, English and Finnish.

Status

The app is in testing and is not yet published in the app stores. The website saflifer.com presents it.

Technology

The mobile app is written in Flutter, and the backend runs on Laravel.

What we did

We built this project for the client ECPro. We designed and developed the app and the website, provide hosting and operation, and continue to maintain and develop the project.
